Yar!
Control the game with up, down, left, right, and enter to select. Press escape in game to pause it and either resume or quit to the main menu.
You win the game by either collecting the most gold before the map is explored, or by sinking all the enemy ships. Games last a limited number of turns. At the top of the screen, you will see the number of turns out of the maximum remaining.
Each ship gets a move during a turn. During a move, the ship sails, then can either dig, unload at port, or fire on an enemy ship.
When moving, move the ship's cursor up to its movement value to select a destination. Ships cannot move through each other.
A ship must be by a neutral land tile to dig, that has not been explored. (An explored tile has a white X on it.)
Ships have a maximum number of gold they hold, and new gold will remove the smallest amount the ship has.
When returning to port, a ship may unload all their gold.
A ship may only fire on an enemy in range. When a ship fires, first select which enemy ship to fire on. An attack reduce the target's hit points; when no hit points remain, the target sinks.
Ships stats are: (S) Speed; (G) Hold contents (which displays the value of each gold coin, or a - for an empty slot); (A) Attack stats, damage/range; and (H) Remaining hitpoints.
